Pay as you go .... so far so good The cellphone I am currently using is a pay as you go phone. I have owned other cellphones with payment plans and I didn't like some of their tactics of getting money out of their customers. If you don't have "good credit", they want you to put a down payment of well over $150. The cellphone itself costed nearly $100 and the monthly plan was over $60.00. This would've been cool if the phone had a camera on it, was internet friendly, capable of text messaging and had roll over minutes. Don't get me wrong, I know there are cellphones out with all of these on them and they don't cost as much as mines did. I bought my first cellphone in 2000 and I know they have come a long way since then. The phone I have now is a pay as you go that didn't cost a third as much as my first phone did. It has every feature I mentioned above (except for the internet) and I get to choose how much I am willing to pay. I only use my phone for check up on my family while I am at work and for when I have car troubles. I know a lot of you have cellphones with monthly plans and like your service. This is just my experience with a monthly plan and a pay as you go cellphone.
